IGNITE! Mind/Body Detox
May 3, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:45 pm$29
IGNITE!™ Mind/Body Detox, is a two-hour transformational workshop that combines breath, movement and sound to allow the Total Being to shine through. It encourages one to re-awaken their personal power by active meditation techniques that tap into the inner fire. It helps break down habitual patterns, release emotional and physical blocks and bring back the essence of letting go into a space of celebration. The goal is re-connecting to what matters the most – the heart and drive of the soul. This workshop is for adults 25-70yrs that are ready to delve into self-exploration and comfort zones. Participants are able to strip away the layers of ego, limitation and find the space for their Total and Authentic Self.
What to expect:
There are three parts to this workshop: Release, Dance and Rest.
The first ninety minutes are dedicated to intense active meditation techniques aimed towards developing personal power while removing emotional/physical blocks. This first phase includes Trance Dance the sacred ritual of dance. This encourages our natural “flow state” and our innate primordial roots of self-expression. Dance awakens the soul and fosters aliveness, totality and freedom. The ancient ritual of dance belongs to our innate essence of movement, ease and comfort in our bodies.
The second phase is the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, the healing power of relaxation. This non-movement 8 phase comprehensive guided meditation is the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. Richard Miller, Ph.D, of the Integrative Restoration Institute (IRI) developed this modern adaptation called iRest® which offers integration as it heals various unresolved issues, traumas and/or wounds that may be present in your body and mind. iRest is especially recommended for those with stress, PTSD, anxiety, depression and sleep disorders.
